Those who love the atmosphere of historical brasseries will be delighted to discover the Jura, and it’s traditional dishes : pigs trotters, tripe, and other specialites.

As well as other varied dishes. There is something for everyone.

The Jura was perhaps one day the meeting place for postal workers , travellers and stagecoach drivers, as from 1831 to 1896, the main post office was opposite the street of the Treille, where  today there is a large bookstore.

The origin of this street is attributed to the presence of a particularly remarkable trellis. It must be said that until 1843, this beautiful artery led to a bridge with two arches that crossed the Seyon and led to the Rue des Flandres and the Place du Marché.
